of providing useful, entertaining and timely syndicated
poker columns and related poker information to
newspapers and electronic media.
Card
Shark Media is the world's leading syndicator of poker content for
newspapers, and is the only syndicate to offer both daily and weekly
poker features to the newspaper industry.
In
2005, Card Shark Media entered into an exclusive
agreement with 2004 ESPN Player of the Year, World
Poker Tour Player of the Year, and Card Player
Magazine Player of the Year Daniel Negreanu to
produce and distribute copyrighted syndicated
poker-oriented columns to newspapers throughout
the United States and Canada.
In
2006, Card Shark Media entered into an exclusive agreement with Card
Player Magazine to distribute a syndicated Tournament Hand Matchup
daily poker column to newspapers.
Steven
J. Miller is President of Card Shark Media. He
is an avid amateur poker player, having played
socially for some 39 of his 51 years. Although
the stakes of his weekly game don’t quite
match those routinely played by his partner Daniel
Negreanu, his excitement about the game certainly
does. Steve enjoys poker for the same reasons
as does his 65+ million poker buddies across the
country: he loves the excitement, loves the competition,
and loves to win. And hanging out with his buddies
each week and drinking a few beers just adds to
his poker enjoyment.
